The last normal game of high school can be very scary for a senior! That’s because the last game is called Senior Night when Durant High School students take pride in celebrating our seniors for their years of hard work.

At their last high school football game, many Durant seniors received the long-awaited Senior Night spotlight they deserve.

The seniors came from four main groups at Durant: the football team, AFJROTC, Color Guard and band. All organizations play a huge role during football season.

Many of the seniors participating in this night get very emotional because they won’t have any more games. Senior Ajai Brown, a star player on Durant’s football team said, “My last regular game was very emotional.”

Long story short, Senior Night was a night to remember and many people came out to watch fellow Durant peers as they wrapped up their storied time under Durant’s Friday Night Lights.
